Restaurant Recommendations

DUE TO COVID, WE RECOMMEND CALLING RESTAURANTS AHEAD OF TIME.  SOME RESTAURANTS ARE ONLY SEATING PEOPLE WITH RESERVATIONS.  IT'S A GOOD IDEA TO CALL FIRST, ESPECIALY WHEN TOWN IS BUSY.

There will be a dining guide at the house or you can visit http://www.breckenridgediningguide.com

Here are some of our personal favorites...however, if we missed one we apologize!  There are so many delicious restaurants in Breckenridge!

PLEASE REALIZE THAT TOWN CAN GET VERY BUSY!  If you are planning nights out at restaurants (especially during high season), we recommend making reservations ahead of time.  During the Christmas/New Years Weeks, it is recommended to make reservations weeks/months prior to arriving.  Basically, call as soon as you know when you want to go out!

Favorite Happy Hours:

There are many great happy hours in Breck...here are just a few of our favs!

  • Twist: LOVE their happy hour!  4pm-6pm daily.  $5, $6, $7, and $9 plates as well as happy hour cocktails, wine and beer.  It's a small bar here, but sometimes they will do happy hour at their dining tables as well...so just ask if the bar is full!

  • Hearthstone:  Another one of my favorite happy hours.  For such a nice restaurant, their happy hour is super affordable!  $5 small plates, cocktails, wine, and beer!  They have a really cozy atmosphere in the bar area.  In the summer time ask about outdoor seating!

  • The Briar Rose:  I love this happy hour but specifically on certain days!  They have happy hour on drinks daily from 4pm-6pm.  However, their happy hour only includes food (1/2-priced Small Plates) on Fridays and Saturdays...so choose your day you go here wisely!

  • Blue River Bistro: The Blue River Bistro is known for it's Happy Hour.  One of the favorites in town.  Twice a day...from 3pm-6pm and from 9pm-Midnight everyday.  Two for one Apps, Two for One Martinis (May I recommend the dirty jalapeno?!!!), and $4 drafts.  This is definitely a favorite...especially if you miss the early bird happy hour.  Just do late night!

  • Ember: Love Ember Happy Hour...or as they call it Euphoric Hour.  From 4pm-5:30pm...reduced drink prices and appetizer menu.  Highly recommend the "Sexy Woman" cocktail...with jalapeno infused vodka and passion fruit if that's your thing!  Mmmmm...so good!  ;)

  • Rita's Taco Bar:  If you're looking for a casual bar environment, Rita's is a great spot.  5pm-7pm daily.  3 for $5 tacos or 3 for $7 tacos depending on what filling, $1 off Margs, $1 off draft beers, and $3 sauza blue shots.  Very fun environment and yummy tacos!  I personally recommend the Double Taco (hard/soft tortilla held together with queso) but not sure if those are on happy hour.  ;)

  • Quandary Grill: Quandary Grill has an awesome Apres Menu.  2-5pm for food and 2-5:30 for drinks every day!  $7 specified apps, $3 drafts, $3 house wines, $4 premium well cocktails.  Love their lettuce wraps and crispy Brussels Sprouts!

  • Aurum Breckenridge: I haven't been here myself for happy hour, but I've heard from multiple people this new place has a fantastic happy hour!
